The Pink Panther first took to the skies as Santa's stand-in on a special, over-sized, 10" plate and 8" musical figure. The plate (a spectacular character plate using over 30 distinct ceramic colors) and figure were issued in editions of 13,000 and 10,000, respectively, but actual production was far below those numbers.
